Meili Robots and Redpoint Positioning Partner to Deliver Unified Safety for Mixed-Traffic Fleets with Meili FMS

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK, December 9, 2025 – Meili Robots, provider of universal fleet management solution Meili FMS is excited to announce a strategic partnership with Redpoint Positioning, a leader in Ultra-Wideband (UWB) Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS).

This collaboration addresses one of the critical challenges we see in Industry 4.0: ensuring the safe and productive coexistence of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and human-operated machinery on the same floor.

Bridging the Gap Between Man and Machine

As facilities rapidly increase the adoption of automation, our customers frequently face a "mixed-traffic" challenge. While AMRs are equipped with sophisticated sensors to navigate, they inherently lack awareness of manual vehicles—such as forklifts and tuggers—that do not natively communicate with the robot's operating system.

This partnership is designed to overcome this by integrating Redpoint’s high-precision location data directly into Meili FMS. This creates a comprehensive "digital twin" of the entire facility, finally including both automated and manual assets under one central management system.

How our integrated solution works:

  • Redpoint Positioning provides the RTLS infrastructure. They equip manual forklifts with Smart Tags and staff with safety badges, broadcasting the precise location of non-automated assets in real-time.

  • Meili FMS acts as the central brain. Our Fleet Management System ingests location data seamlessly from both the mobile robots (via native integration) and now from the manual vehicles (via Redpoint's RTLS).

Empowering Safe Traffic Rules Across the Entire Facility

With this enhanced location data, Meili FMS can now enforce complex traffic rules across the entire site, not just within the automated fleet.

  • Smart Collision Avoidance: If a human-driven truck approaches an intersection, Meili FMS can preemptively halt or reroute oncoming robots, ensuring safety and compliance.

  • Significant Productivity Gains: By reducing the need for near-miss maneuvers and emergency stops caused by blind spots, traffic flows smoother, dramatically increasing overall throughput for the entire operation.

  • Enhanced Safety: We are proactively decreasing the risk of accidents in high-traffic zones, protecting the facility’s most valuable asset—the people working there.

"We are thrilled to partner with Redpoint Positioning to solve one of the biggest safety and efficiency hurdles in logistics today," said Aldus von der Burg, Founder & CEO at Meili Robots. "By feeding Redpoint's centimeter-level data directly into Meili FMS, we are giving facility managers unprecedented control and intelligence over their entire floor operation, unifying the fleet experience for safety and productivity."

About Meili Robots

Meili Robots is the provider of Meili FMS, an advanced software solution for mobile robot fleet management, enabling enterprises to unify and orchestrate diverse robot types from a single platform. Dedicated to maximising operational efficiency, improving visibility, and accelerating automation adoption, Meili Robots provides the essential software layer for modern logistics, manufacturing, and warehousing operations.

The core challenge in today's automated landscape is interoperability. Meili Robots addresses this by providing a vendor-agnostic layer that seamlessly integrates AMRs from multiple manufacturers. This approach eliminates fragmentation, allowing organisations to avoid vendor lock-in and flexibly scale their operations by choosing the best robot for each specific task.
